Brianna didn’t want to go at first – “Why can’t I stay home with Daddy?!” But, once we got there, she had a great time looking at all the houses and buildings of the period and playing some games the kids “back then” played. I had to drag her away when it was time to go. Fortunately, she will get to go back for a school field trip in a few months. Plus, I told her we could go back and walk the nature trail another time. She wanted to do that earlier, but by the time the reenactment was over, it was just too hot and muggy for my taste.
