Case Lot Sale

I spent too much time and too much money at the Case Lot Sale at the Commissary today. For those of you who don’t know what the Commissary is, it’s a grocery store on a military base. They sell their items AT COST then do a 5% markup (surcharge) when you check out (but no sales tax).  So, most things are quite a bit cheaper there – but they don’t sell generic or “store brand”. But, during a Case Lot Sale (they do them twice a year), you can buy things at even lower cost because you buy them by the case.  So, stacked up on toilet paper, paper towels, snacks, juice boxes, laundry detergent, fabric softener and more. It’s even cheaper than Sam’s/Costco.
